Paola Hernandez Olivan joined EuroHealthNet as Communication and Policy Assistant in November 2017. She provides a link between specific projects within each branch by assisting in the preparation of publications such as newsletters, brochures, blogs, and the EuroHealthNet magazine. She also helps maintaining various websites, organising events, and monitoring national (policy) developments.
Paola has a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology from the University of Zaragoza (2009-2013). Her thesis focused on the assessment of nutritional status and dietary habits of college students'. She has also a Master’s degree in European Public Health (2014-2016), with the specialization in Environmental and Occupational Health, from the Andalusian School of Public Health (Granada, Spain), and the French School of Public Health (École des Hautes Études en Santé Publique) (Paris, France).
She has worked previously at the Aragón Health Sciences Institute (IACS), EpiChron Research Group on Chronic Diseases, the Alícia Foundation, and more recently at the non-for-profit organization Health Care Without Harm (HCWH) Europe as Food Project Officer.
