Conference - What determines the food choices we make? Lessons from health economics and life stories perspectives, 24 April 2013

On 24 April 2013, the Institute of Public Health in Ireland (IPH), the HRB Centre for Health and Diet Research (HRB CHDR) (UCC/UCD) and the Centre of Excellence for Public Health (Northern Ireland) (CoEfPH (NI)) (QUB) are jointly hosting a workshop to look at challenges related to the food choices made by people living in Northern Ireland and in the Republic of Ireland and explore individual food choices from two quite different perspectives.

The joint workshop aims to present findings from two recent studies of food choices; one based on a health economics approach and the other using food life stories. The objective is also to explore how these two approaches might be used to gain greater understanding of individual food choices.

Register before 17 April 20113 by sending a mail to Susanne Kirkor Leah Friend
