EuroHealthNet will participate in the Final conference of the European research project SOPHIE

29 September 2015

EuroHealthNet will participate in the Final conference of the European research project SOPHIE – "The impact on health and equity of social and economic policies". This event aims to present and discuss the main findings and conclusions of SOPHIE and its implications for policy. The project has generated new evidence on the health impacts of policies that shape people's living circumstances, including macroeconomics (economic cycles, fiscal policies), social protection (unemployment benefits, family policies), labour market (active labour market policies, employment relations), built and social environment (urban renewal, urban planning, neighbourhood safety), housing (housing systems, social accommodations, building retrofitting), gender equity and immigrant integration.

EuroHealthNet's Managing Director, Caroline Costongs will moderate the panel session on gender and health inequalities.
