Institute of Public Health Ireland: Report on Longstanding Health Conditions among Three Year Old Children Living in Ireland

The Institute of Public Health in Ireland (IPH) and the Minister for Health and the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs will jointly launch the Institute of Public Health in Ireland (IPH) report "Longstanding Health Conditions among Three Year Old Children Living in Ireland" , on 6th October 2014

This report, based on a systematic analysis of data from the Growing Up in Ireland National Longitudinal Study of Children, is the first comprehensive look at long-standing illness among young Irish children.  The aim of this event will be to:

  • Jointly launch the report in collaboration with the Department of Health (DH) and the Department of Children and Youth Affairs (DCYA)
  • Present a summary of key findings and explore their implications for policy development and¬†service delivery
