The Charter for International Health Partnerships was launched by the Minister for Health & Social Services in Wales in December 2014.
This document lays out a set of principles for Welsh NHS organisations who work anywhere in the world and was signed by all the health boards and NHS Trusts in Wales at a launch event hosted by the International Health Co-ordination Centre in Public Health Wales. This is a strong initiative that commits health organisations to a strong ethical, fair and effective set of principles for international health working and have been delighted by the very positive and supportive response of our health stakeholders across Wales and beyond.
