Capacity-building study visit on ‘Understanding EU decision-making for a meaningful engagement of public health actors’ (Members-only)
2-3 September 2024 - Brussels, Belgium
Members-only
Following the European Parliament Elections in June 2024, EuroHealthNet is organising a members-only capacity building ‘Understanding EU decision-making for a meaningful engagement of public health actors’ which will take place on 2-3 September 2024 in Brussels.
Together, we want to ensure that our Partnership impacts policies, further contributes to reducing social and health inequalities and helps building a sustainable, fair, and inclusive Europe through healthier communities. Our goal is to foster greater understanding of EU institutions and policies, their impacts on national and regional policies and our readiness to engage with decision-makers.
Through interactive sessions, a visit to the European Parliament, and various workshops, members will gain invaluable insights into navigating the EU landscape. In a role-play simulation in the European Parliament’s visitor centre and other practical exercises, members will have the opportunity to get first-hand experiences of successful advocacy.
The capacity-building will also be an opportunity for discussions with various EuroHealthNet members and to discover the city of Brussels.
The costs for travel, accommodation and food will be covered by EuroHealthNet but places are limited. To express your interest to participate, please click the registration button. The deadline to register is 28 June 2024, or until the spaces are filled.
