EuroHealthNet responds to Consultation on European Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Authority

EuroHealthNet has responded to a consultation on the establishment of a European Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Authority (HERA). In its response to the Commission’s consultation, EuroHealthNet mainly focused on the new Agency’s activities which could be potentially relevant for addressing health inequalities, supporting activities in Member States in NCDs prevention and addressing psychosocial aspects of the future preparedness and response approaches. We also highlighted issues of strengthening capacities of public health systems in Member States.
