Belgian Presidency: Integrating Care, Strengthening Communities. The Data Connection

Hosted by the Department of Care of the Government of Flanders and conducted under the aegis of the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, this conference will serve as a platform where European and international experts, thought leaders, and practitioners can explore innovative strategies and collaborative approaches for advancing integrated care and empowering communities. The event aims to address the critical aspect of data connectivity in achieving comprehensive healthcare solutions.

This conference promises to offer fresh insights, foster cross-sector collaborations, and facilitate the exchange of innovative ideas to drive the integration of care forward through the following sessions (subject to change):

• The role of behavioural and cultural insights in the uptake of innovative digital tools
• Measure what matters: neighbourhood analysis
• Giving back to the people: population health & wellbeing management
• How to build trust and transparency with regard to citizens’ (health)care data

Preceding the conference, a special social event will kick off the proceedings on Thursday, the 2nd of May 2024.
