Symposium on the future of agriculture in the EU
During the first half of 2024, Belgium is holding the rotating presidency of the Council of the European Union. Among Belgian priorities are food security and autonomy, as well as further enhancing the sustainability of food production and consumption in a holistic manner.
In that regard, the government of Flanders, which has agriculture and fisheries under its competencies, organizes this symposium.
Our event aims to bring together distinguished experts, policymakers, industry leaders and researchers from around the world. Through engaging in a panel discussion, interactive sessions, and knowledge sharing opportunities, we aspire to explore innovative strategies, technological advancements, and policy frameworks to ensure a prosperous, sustainable, and resilient agriculture sector in Europe.
