The Northern Dimension Partnership in Public Health and Social Wellbeing (NDPHS) will host the international conference “Acting on Health: The Role of Arts in Well-being” as the final event of the Arts on Prescription in the Baltic Sea Region project, co-funded by the European Union through the Interreg BSR Programme.
Held at the National Library of Lithuania, the conference will bring together policymakers, researchers, practitioners, and community actors from across the Baltic Sea Region to explore how participation in the arts can enhance health and wellbeing.
The event will showcase evidence and experiences from pilot programmes in Denmark, Germany, Poland, Latvia, and Sweden, highlight lessons learned, and discuss how to embed Arts on Prescription into health systems. A final panel will reflect on the future of social prescribing and cross-sector collaboration between health and culture.
