European Parliament Policy Event: Health Equity for Marginalised Voices: EU’s Path Forward

Marginalised communities across Europe continue to face barriers to healthcare. As the EU enters a new legislative period, integrating health equity into all policy areas is essential.

The Nobody Left Outside (NLO) initiative is hosting this policy event, co-hosted by MEPs Vytenis Andriukaitis, Tilly Metz, and Stine Bosse, to explore solutions for reducing financial and administrative barriers, improving access to primary care, and addressing social determinants of health.

A key outcome will be a call for an action plan to ensure equitable healthcare for all. The event will also mark the re-launch of the “Friends of NLO” network, fostering collaboration between policymakers and health stakeholders.
