WHO Webinar: update on implementation of the European Immunization Agenda 2030

This webinar will provide an update on EIA2030 progress, strategic priorities, and the new data dashboard. Over 190 participants are expected to attend, including national immunisation staff and partner representatives.

Presentations will cover the monitoring framework, projected progress for 2023, and recommendations from ETAGE Chair Dr Ole Wichmann. The dashboard, developed with EU support, will enhance data quality and tracking.

EIA2030, endorsed in 2021, aims to strengthen immunisation in the WHO European Region. Progress includes strengthening national immunisation policies, addressing gaps in vaccine coverage, tailoring immunisation services to community needs, and enhancing cross-sector partnerships. WHO continues to support Member States in disease surveillance, outbreak response, vaccine safety monitoring, and introducing new vaccines. These efforts contribute to reducing mortality and morbidity from vaccine-preventable diseases and preventing future epidemics and pandemics.
