The World Federation for Mental Health (WFMH), in partnership with the Municipality of Barcelos, will host the congress on ‘Mental Health and Social Sustainability: A Whole Society and Community-Based Approach.’ The event will combine in-person sessions at Barcelos City Hall with live online broadcasts, offering simultaneous interpretation in English, Spanish, and Portuguese for key sessions.
The programme includes oral communications, posters, workshops, symposia, book presentations, and invited conferences, covering a wide range of topics such as community-based approaches, clinical interventions across the lifespan, mental health promotion and prevention, addictions, social determinants of mental health, sustainability, and more.
WFMH aims to advance mental health awareness, prevention, advocacy, and recovery-focused interventions globally, bringing together experts, practitioners, and stakeholders from around the world.
